A story of hope
Born in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, a labour district of Montreal, Lise Watier has always been close to those, whom she has been helping, showcase and acquire the confidence that makes them so beautiful. Whether it is through the Beauty and Charm Institute in the 1960s or through her perfumes or her trendy skincare and makeup products, which have always been at the peak of cosmetology, Lise Watier has never stopped believing in the capacity of these women to thrive, distinguish themselves and develop their self esteem.
By creating the Lise Watier Foundation, in 2009, Lise Watier gave even more empowerment to her message of faith and hope towards these women.
Helping women: a true calling
By building on the strong business network from her flourishing entrepreneur career, Lise Watier wanted to create an institution that would collect funds and give them back to Canada-wide organizations whose primary mission of help and support for women aims towards self esteem, autonomy and building themselves a better future. Therefore, since 2009, thanks to a series of events, of sponsorships, of charity events and of the sale of feature products, the Lise Watier Foundation has given back to regional organizations in order to create precise programs in relation to its mission.
Today, the Foundation has developed and created its own intervention program, the Let’s Start Up program which will, in continuum of the emergency support services and social reintegration services, stimulate and encourage women in need to accomplish their full potential by launching their business or returning on the employment market.
Help us empower local women so they can take charge of their future.
